Bypass the save dialog and just auto save

Matt T 6 years ago in Nimbus Capture / FireFox 0

I love how simple this addon is. One feature that I would love it to bypass the save dialog and just auto save. That would allow me to take many screen shots in a row. Useful for reactions on google hangout etc.

Add option url, date, time in screenshot, just like in file name

The title says it all... please add an option to include the capture details into the screen shot, just like the options for the file name.

Nimbus 4.0.2 , Firefox 29.0.1 -- Filename extension (.jpeg) disappears

agq123 5 years ago in Nimbus Capture / FireFox updated by nimbusweb 5 years ago 9
Just updated Nimbus today, screen-caps now default to 'file', (not .jpeg, as before).  Have to remember to manually add the .jpeg ~~ is this something that will/can be corrected?

Not saving entire page in frame or CSS

Advocatus Diaboli 4 years ago in Nimbus Capture / FireFox updated by nimbusweb 4 years ago 1

Capture entire page worked before it automatically updated. Now it only takes a screenshot of visible page. Also could use an option to capture the entire page of a selected frame or css pop-up window, such as a drop down notification window on YouTube or Google+.

Firefox 41.0.2

Nimbus screenshots breaks Google OAuth in my Firefox!

Виталий Филиппов 4 years ago in Nimbus Capture / FireFox updated by nimbusweb 4 years ago 4

Hi!
I've recently tried your extension and noticed a very strange thing:

When it's enabled, Google OAuth (for example Google Drive OAuth) stops working!

I'm a developer of the open-source "Grive" Linux google drive client https://github.com/vitalif/grive2 so I'm speaking about its OAuth.

How to reproduce the error:

- Install & enable Nimbus screenshots.

- Go to https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth?scope=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.googleapis.com%2Fauth%2Fuserinfo.email+https%3A%2F%2Fwww.googleapis.com%2Fauth%2Fuserinfo.profile+https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Ffeeds%2F+https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.googleusercontent.com%2F+https%... (grive2 uses this URL to get the oauth token)

- Confirm access

- Google will show you the OAuth token which should be copy-pasted to the grive2 app so it gets the access to your google drive. But if you do it while Nimbus is enabled, the token becomes "already redeemed"!

Does that mean Nimbus intercepts OAuth token in some way?

Allow editing previously saved images

Justin Warkentin 4 years ago in Nimbus Capture / FireFox updated by nimbusweb 4 years ago 3

Nimubs has excellent editing tools for what I need. Sometimes I save a screenshot from Facebook and then later want to go back and blur parts of it out so I can share it. Unfortunately, it does not seem to allow me to open a previously saved image for editing. It would be even cooler if I could open any image for quick editing with Nimbus.
