Desktop Recording Not Working

Desktop Recording Not Working

When I attempt to record my desktop rather than a browser tab, the recording does not appear to start at all. I am using a MacBook Pro and the Chrome browser Nimbus extension. I have already given Chrome permission to record my screen in my Mac System Preferences as well.
