Not automatically saving the author/s and publication date of an article means extra manual work entering these.

The Article feature is very good EXCEPT that it doesn't store author or date.

While i understand that some people don't need to store authors and dates, it's critical for anyone who wants/needs to reference material.

The automatic addition of author and date would save a lot of extra work.
