Side handles for resizing images should crop them instead of distorting them

When you move the mouse over an image, four handles appear to change the size of the image.
The two handles at the corners change the size of the image proportionally.
The two handles at the sides, however, distort the image. I can't think of any case where this would be desirable. Instead, the expected behavior is for the image to be cropped appropriately, rather than distorted.
In Coda, for example, this is how it works, and I think this is a feature that Nimbus should also introduce. Ideally, within the cropping frame, there should also be the possibility to position the image as desired.
