Table cells: Text formatting not possible for empty cells
In Nimbus Note spreadsheets, formatting can be applied to cells, regardless of whether they contain content or not - with the exception of text formatting.
Unlike cells in spreadsheet applications like Excel, Nimbus Note apparently currently treats text formatting not as a property of the cell, but as a property of its contents (the text it contains). Formatting such as text color and text format (bold, italic, strikethrough, underline) is therefore lost resp. not applied as soon as the cell contains no text.
This is unexpected, because when applying text formatting you have selected the cell (!) and not the contained text, which is also possible (even parts of a text in a cell can be selected and formatted as desired). Therefore, when you select the cell, you should assume that the text formatting is set for the cell, regardless of whether the cell contains text or not.
From spreadsheets you are used to being able to assign formatting to cells regardless of whether they have content or not, with Nimbus Note's table cells there is currently a small inconsistency here that should be fixed.
